Crafted by artisan roaster Richard O’Neill using a process discovered in the 17th century, MONSOONED COFFEES are known for their sophistication, exquisite flavour and creamy texture. To create these exceptional coffees, Richard O’Neill not only drew inspiration from nature but also incorporated it into the process. Thus, he began manufacturing his coffees on the Magdalen Islands by exposing them to seawater moisture and salty winds before drying them in the sun. This allowed the sodium to crystallize inside the bean. He has since refined his process in an effort to improve its stability and offer the best product possible, taking more control over each step. This has resulted in greater consistency to provide you with a continuously improved taste. Roasting combines the sodium with the coffee’s natural oils, eliminating all traces of acidity and enhancing the aromas found in other coffees with which they are blended. Introducing MONSOONED COFFEES! They’re rich. They’re mellow. They taste great.
